Christian is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at King’s College Hospital and Guy's Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts in London. He is able to hold private clinics at the Guthrie Clinic (King's), Harley Street, BMI Blackheath Hospital, BMI Shirley Oaks Hospital and at London Bridge Hospital.




Christian works as part of the laparoscopic and robotic teams at King’s and Guys, both renowned international centres of excellence in laparoscopic and robotic surgery (also known as key hole surgery). 

In addition to elective and emergency core urological care he provides a tertiary referral service for elective laparoscopic surgery including robotic radical prostatectomy (RALP) and minimally invasive treatment of upper urinary tract cancers.
 

His general urology practice includes the investigation and management of diseases of the kidneys, bladder, prostate and male genitalia including:

  • Lower urinary tract symptoms (Benign prostatic hyperplasia)
  • Men's health advice
  • Day surgery
  • Disorders of the foreskin (one-stop frenuloplasty and circumcision service), testicles and scrotum
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • PSA testing
  • Laser treatments (XPS GreenLight) for prostate symptoms and urinary retention
  • Investigation of haematuria
  • Bladder, prostate, kidney and testicular cancer investigation, management and advice
  • 23 hour stay Laparoscopic (key hole) surgery for prostate and kidney cancer
 
Christian is the lead for cancer and clinical governance in the department of Urology at King's College Hospital.
