Management
I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the laparoscopic radical prostatectomy service at King’s and participate in the organization and delivery of other laparoscopic services at King's including renal cancer surgery. This involves communicating with visiting consultants bringing their cases to King’s, and other surgeons on mentorship programs. I collaborate with service managers to plan routine operating lists, master class teaching lists, and ensure patients meet their cancer targets. I also co-ordinate the radiological and pathological results for multi disciplinary team meetings relating to both local and tertiary referral patients and I collect all outcome data prospectively in several laparoscopic databases which I have designed.
